Coastal Study Areas
The methodology for the development of a series of coastal evolution and risk maps has been tested in five 'regional' coastal study areas, each including a variety of coastal landforms. These study areas are:
Each of the study areas has produced a detailed report, addressing the issues of coastal and climate change, coastal hazard and risk and assessing the likely costs of future climate change along the coast. The study area reports also include practical examples of implementing the RESPONSE Project mapping methodology in a regional study area, and the full set of maps. |
