Feedback

The study, which has been funded by the Environment Agency and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) will be successful only if it involves input from local businesses, residents and others with an interest in the area.

Since the study commenced, the project team has sought your knowledge and experience of living and working in this area. We would like to thank you for sending in your views on the issues and constraints that we need to address when considering options for managing flood and coastal erosion risk as well as identifying opportunities that this study could deliver in the catchment, harbour and Duver areas.

Communication Plan

A Communication Plan has been produced for the Eastern Yar Strategy. The purpose of the Communication Plan is to provide an overall framework for managing and co-ordinating the wide variety of communications that will directly or indirectly take place as part of the Eastern Yar Catchment, River and Coastal Strategy Study. It is intended as a resource for the project team and all interested stakeholders.

This plan covers the key messages, audiences, communicators, communication channels (existing and needed), feedback mechanisms and message timing. This is mapped within the context of the wider strategy study.

The plan is currently being updated and will be posted here soon.
