Contents of the SMP

The new Shoreline Management Plan (SMP) for the Isle of Wight coast is being prepared in 2009 and 2010. The full document will be posted on this website when the Plan is published.

The content of the SMP follows guidelines set out by Defra, the national government department responsible for flood and coastal erosion risk management.
